My winter break was somewhat boring but,it went by rather quickly. I pretty much just stayed home since my little sister was born in late November. Nevertheless, I liked it I just hoped it would've lasted longer because it felt short. Though during that break I realized that it was going to be my last break in high school. Time really is going by fast and before I know it it’s going to be graduation. Hopefully I make it the best last months of high school.
Reflecting on my first semester what I felt most proud of the most was that I finished all of classes. It was a relief because that was my goal. However what I do regret was that I lacked off in Geometry. I was supposed to finish a long time ago but I would always mess around and I finished two or three days before the semester was over even though I was supposed to finish weeks before first semester was due but at least I did finish so I’m happy about that.
The last semester has hit me hard because it’s the last semester before we graduate, it's stressful for me because I have to finish all my classes while taking the certified nurse assistant class Tuesday’s and Thursday’s and was going Monday’s and Wednesday’s to the stars program to finish my community service hours. So my plate is full but I managed to pass all my classes.
I need to accomplish my six classes that I’m currently enroll in, economics and Digital Art, Spanish 2, guitar, english and CNA. I had eight classes first semester but since I finished Foods and nutritions and geometry. Another thing that I also need to accomplish is my exit interview, I’m very nervous to do it especially because i get nervous, my stomach starts hurting, my hands start sweating and sometimes studer. However this time I'm making it a personal goal to present well. I’m going to practice more, try to relax and do the best that i can.
The college I applied to was College of the Sequoias. I’ve done all the requirements to get in. I registered and I’ve applied to FAFSA to receive money for college. Now I’m currently working on the CAL grant sheet I just need to turn it in.
The progress I’ve made finding a useful job after graduation is taking the Certified nurse assistant class. The class has been helping me because in the future I want to work in a career involving the medical field and that helps me figure out if I want to stay as a certified nurse or if I want to keep going. Not only has it helped me get a job in the future now I’m certified in CPR, I know what to do when someone is choking or if someone can’t breath which is very helpful because you never when it’s going to happen. It is better to be safe than sorry.
